General

About PepScribe.

If something is not here, reach out, we'd rather answer it plainly than have you guess.

Is PepScribe a pharmacy?
No. PepScribe is a telehealth peptide practice, we connect you with a US-licensed clinician who reviews your assessment and writes your protocol. Your medication is then compounded and shipped by a US-licensed 503A pharmacy we partner with.
Which program or peptide should I choose?
Start with the assessment, it's free and takes about three minutes. Based on your goals (recovery, longevity, body composition, sexual vitality, weight) and clinical eligibility, your clinician will recommend either a monthly peptide plan (Sermorelin, Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, or NAD+) or a personalized program (Recovery, Longevity, GH & Body Composition, or Sexual Vitality). You don't need to know in advance.
How does intake work?
Three minutes of questions about your goals, symptoms, history, and current medications. A US-licensed clinician reviews your answers within 48 hours. If a plan or program fits, your medication is compounded by a 503A pharmacy and shipped to your door. Your consult fee credits toward your first month if approved, or refunded in full if no prescription is issued.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No. Your PepScribe clinician is the prescribing clinician for your plan or program, no referral or pre-authorization needed.
How quickly can I start?
Most assessments are reviewed within 48 hours. After approval, your medication ships within 72 hours. From quiz to first dose typically lands in 5–7 days.
How does pricing work?
Monthly peptide plans are flat monthly with medication included. Personalized programs include a clinician intake plus a monthly membership, with medication billed at cost-plus. You see the exact numbers before you check out.
What's included with a plan?
Clinician-prescribed medication compounded by a US-licensed 503A pharmacy, the supplies you need to administer it (sharps, alcohol pads), async clinician messaging through the portal, and lab-driven dose adjustments when relevant. Monthly peptide plans are flat monthly with medication included; personalized programs include the clinician intake and an ongoing membership.
Can I use HSA or FSA?
Yes. Most plan fees are HSA/FSA eligible and we provide itemized receipts you can submit for reimbursement.
Can I switch programs or peptides later?
Yes. Message your clinician through the portal. If your goals change, your labs shift, or a peptide isn't working for you, your clinician can adjust the protocol or move you to a different plan. There's no lock-in.
Can I use PepScribe if I already have a regular doctor?
Yes, and we encourage it. Your PepScribe clinician is the prescribing clinician for your plan or program, but we'll send your regular doctor a summary of your protocol on request so your full care picture stays coordinated.
What if I'm already on a similar medication?
Tell us during the assessment. Your clinician will need your current dose, source, and how long you have been on it before recommending whether to continue, transition, or pause.

Pricing & cost

Subscriptions, cancellation, and what you pay.

If something is not here, reach out, we'd rather answer it plainly than have you guess.

How much does peptide therapy cost?
Monthly peptide plans run from $129 to $329, with medication, clinician oversight, and shipping included. A refundable clinician consult fee comes first and credits toward your first month if you are approved. You see the exact monthly price before anything is billed. No hidden fees.
Why is PepScribe cheaper than a clinic?
Telehealth removes the overhead of a physical clinic. Same licensed providers, same US-licensed 503A compounding pharmacies, without the boutique markup.
What does the subscription include?
Clinician consultation, prescription, pharmacy compounding, shipping, and ongoing clinical oversight via secure messaging. Everything required to run a protocol, one price.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees, no retention calls. When you cancel, there are no future charges. The current billing period is not prorated, and you keep any doses already shipped or scheduled for that period. See our Refund Policy for details.
Do you accept insurance?
Not at this time. Plans are cash-pay. HSA and FSA cards are accepted at checkout. We provide itemized receipts for any reimbursement your insurance may offer.
What if I'm not prescribed?
You pay nothing. Your clinician makes an independent medical decision. If peptide therapy isn’t appropriate for you, there is no consultation fee, no assessment fee, no charge.

Treatment

How peptide therapy works in practice.

If something is not here, reach out, we'd rather answer it plainly than have you guess.

How do I know which peptide is right for me?
Take the 3-minute assessment. A licensed clinician reviews your goals and health history and recommends the appropriate protocol, or tells you if peptide therapy isn't the right fit.
Will I definitely get a prescription?
No. Every assessment is reviewed independently. Not everyone qualifies, that's the point of having a clinician in the loop.
How are peptides administered?
Most peptide therapies are subcutaneous injections, similar in technique to insulin. Some are taken orally or sublingually depending on the molecule. Your clinician walks you through administration as part of onboarding.
How long before I see results?
Timelines vary by peptide and by individual. Your clinician sets specific expectations as part of your protocol and adjusts based on labs and response.

Safety & compliance

If something is not here, reach out, we'd rather answer it plainly than have you guess.

Who prescribes my medication?
Licensed physicians and nurse practitioners licensed in your state. They are independent clinicians, not PepScribe employees. The provider-patient relationship is between you and your clinician.
Where are the medications compounded?
Compounded in the USA by our licensed 503A pharmacy network. Not 503B. Not international. No hidden overseas supply chain.
Is “packaged in the USA” the same thing?
No. PepScribe’s medications are compounded in the USA by a licensed 503A pharmacy, not just packaged here. The pharmacy compounds each prescription from ingredients to finished medication under US pharmacy regulation.
How is PepScribe different from international or hidden-source peptide sellers?
PepScribe operates inside the licensed US compounding framework. Every prescription is written by a US-licensed clinician and filled by a US-licensed 503A pharmacy with batch-level quality standards. No research-chem reselling. No grey market. No hidden overseas supply chain.
What if I have side effects?
Message your clinician through the secure messaging in your patient account. They adjust the protocol as needed. For urgent symptoms, call 911 or go to an emergency room and follow up with your clinician afterward.
