How telehealth licensing works.
Clinician licensing is state-by-state. A clinician licensed in Texas can only prescribe to a patient in Texas. Telehealth changes the format of the appointment, not that rule. Availability is determined by where our partner clinicians are licensed, not by where our servers are.

Compounded prescriptions are prepared in the USA by licensed 503A pharmacies, not 503B, not international. Once prescribed, orders ship nationwide subject to your physician’s prescribing authority.

Why does my state require a video or phone call?
In Arkansas, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, West Virginia, the District of Columbia, state telehealth rules require a brief synchronous visit (a video or audio call) with the prescribing physician for non-controlled medications, instead of a written-only review. If your state is one of them, scheduling the call is built into the same assessment flow.
Can I use PepScribe while traveling?
Licensing is determined by patient location at the time of consultation. If you relocate, your care may need to move to a physician licensed in your new state before your next prescription is issued.

Once a prescription is issued, your medication ships from a licensed 503A pharmacy in the USA directly to your door.
