How telehealth licensing works

Clinician licensing is state-by-state in the United States. A clinician licensed in Texas can only prescribe to a patient located in Texas. Telehealth doesn't change that rule — it just changes the appointment format. That's why availability is determined by where our clinicians are licensed, not by where our servers are.

Clinician licensing

State-by-state credentials

Our partner physicians and nurse practitioners hold active licenses in specific states. Each prescription is issued by a clinician licensed where the patient lives.

Pharmacy compounding

Licensed US pharmacies

Compounded prescriptions are prepared by US pharmacies operating under federal 503A or 503B regulations. Those pharmacies ship nationwide, subject to the prescribing clinician's authority.

Expanding coverage

Adding states over time

We're actively adding clinicians in new states. Join the waitlist and we'll email you the moment we launch where you live — no spam, no selling your data.

Check if we're available in your state

The 3-minute assessment confirms eligibility for your state as the first step — before any health questions, before any clinician review, and certainly before any charge.

No credit card required. If we're not in your state yet, we'll offer to notify you when we are.

Questions about availability

Why isn't PepScribe in every US state?

Each state regulates medical practice independently. To prescribe to a patient in a given state, the clinician must hold an active license there. Adding a state means credentialing clinicians in that jurisdiction — which takes time. We're doing it one state at a time rather than claiming coverage we don't have.

How do I know if my state is covered?

The assessment confirms eligibility for your state as the first step. If we're not in your state yet, the flow will offer to notify you the moment we launch there. No guessing, no hidden rejection later.

Can I use PepScribe while traveling?

Telehealth licensing is determined by where the patient is located at the time of the consultation, not by the patient's permanent address. If you relocate to a state we don't cover, your prescribing clinician may not be able to continue care until a licensed clinician in your new state takes over.

What about shipping?

Once your prescription is issued by a licensed clinician, compounded medications ship from a US compounding pharmacy to your door. Shipping is nationwide for covered states.

Will PepScribe ever serve every state?

That's the goal. State expansion is ongoing. Some states have additional controlled-substance or telehealth rules that may affect which peptides can be prescribed locally; we'll be honest about those differences as we add coverage.
