NAD+ injection cost: what each route runs. | Reddit

Published NAD+ prices span more than tenfold, and most of that spread is the delivery route rather than the molecule. Here is what each route costs, where the figures come from, and why per-session and per-month pricing are hard to compare directly.

Four ways to buy NAD+, four price models.
Clinic IV
$200 to $2,000 per session
Dr. Ashley Froese quotes $200 to $500 for a single IV session. Dr. Daniel Barrett quotes $800 to $2,000 for IV therapy at higher doses, 500 to 750 mg per drip, typically about once a month.
Clinic injection
$100 to $300 per injection
Barrett puts intramuscular NAD+ at roughly 100 mg per injection, given as often as weekly during recovery. At a weekly cadence those prices work out to $400 to $1,200 a month.
At-home plan
$228 per month
A prescribed at-home NAD+ injection plan through PepScribe, clinician oversight and shipping included. The nasal spray runs $159 a month. Priced per month rather than per visit, so the comparison is to a cadence, not to one appointment.
Oral precursors
$30 to $60 per month
Over-the-counter NMN and similar precursors, as quoted by Froese, who takes one herself. These are supplements rather than prescribed NAD+, a different product class with a different evidence base.
Why the spread is so wide.
Clinic pricing is priced per visit, and the visit is most of what you are paying for: the appointment, the chair, the staff time to place and monitor an IV, and the dose itself, which at 500 to 750 mg per drip is many times an intramuscular dose.
At-home plans are priced per month and bundle the clinical evaluation, the medication, and delivery. That makes the comparison a cadence question rather than a sticker question. One monthly IV at Froese’s $200 to $500 and a $228 monthly plan land in a similar range; a weekly in-clinic injection schedule at $100 to $300 a visit does not.
Oral precursors look far cheaper because they are a different product. NMN and NR are supplements sold without a prescription, they raise NAD+ indirectly by feeding the salvage pathway, and Froese ranks IV highest for raising levels, with oral precursors and injections behind it.
One thing none of the published pricing settles is how long an increase lasts. Froese’s own framing is that effects fade the way a phone battery discharges after you unplug it, which is why cadence, not the price of a single session, is what determines annual spend.
